Free Abstractions Screensaver
If you are into abstract images and you would like to see a few of them on your monitor when your computer goes idle, then you could give 3D Screensaver Jam’s Free Abstractions Screensaver a try. This screensaver is nothing more than a collection of good looking abstract images. The screensaver launches when your computer goes idle and displays these images on your desktop. Various transition effects are used when the screensaver switches from one image to another.
Alongside abstract images, the screensaver also displays a clock. The clock’s default position is “bottom right” and its default color is white. From the screensaver’s settings pane you can change the clock’s position and color if you don’t like the defaults. You can also change the clock’s size.
Now before you go get Free Abstractions Screensaver and put it to the test, there are some technical details you need to know about this application. The technical details presented below:
Download – the download weighs in at 2.1MB, which is good news. It means the download will complete in very little time, even if you are on a less than spectacular internet connection. I don’t know about you, but I don’t particularly like having to wait a long time for a download to complete.
Supported OS – at the time of writing this and according to the developer, Free Abstractions Screensaver provides support for Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 and Windows XP. Tested the screensaver out on a Windows 7-powered machine and it worked fine on it, even though the developer does not mention Windows 7 support.
Limitations – there are no limitations because Free Abstractions Screensaver is freeware. You can use the screensaver for as long as you want and not part with your hard earned money.
